Case Study: Enterprise eCommerce Platform
Challenge ColdFusion 10 on Windows Server 2008. Both end-of-life. PCI compliance audit flagged the environment. 847 CFML files, 11 years of undocumented custom code.
What we did Assessed all 847 files. Found 23 deprecated function calls, 6 unsupported CFX tags, 4 SQL injection vulnerabilities, JVM heap at 512MB on a server with 8,000 daily active users. Produced the first architecture documentation this application had ever had.
Result Migrated to CF 2023 on Windows Server 2022 in 11 weeks. Zero data loss. PCI compliance restored. 34% performance improvement through JVM and query cache optimisation.
